For the 4:30 MV, they asked music heavenly king Jay Chou to write a song named "The Journey To The West" for the game, the song is performed by Edison Huang, the lyrics talk about unchanging legend of the Journey to the West, it describes that even legendary heroes had romance. The MV matches up with visuals from the game "The Journey To The West Online", they especially got Chio-Tian Folk Drums & Arts Troupe to perform in it, in the MV they play drums.

Alright, not to be negative or anything, but this has to be the crappiest Jay composed song. Just saying.

Yes I agree.. Keep on telling myself maybe it's the singer's voice that makes it sound crappy.

Personally I think any Jay song that is rock is usually a bit bland.

I noticed we are doing some sort of thank the previous poster thing :silly:

I have to agree that rock is not one of Jay's strongest areas and this song kinda sounds a little like The Era and Exclamation Mark at some points.
Having said that, Exclamation Mark performed 'live' is quite a thrill as the "WA KAO!!" really gets the audience pumped up, as I experienced during his F1 concert recently. ;)

And thank you, Kelvin for the 'Say Thanks' button...we're putting it to good use. :)

I don't mind it. I think it would be better with a girl singing.

I like Jay doing rock music :)
Or maybe that's just me since I like rock music in general >.<
Well, I like the music but the words are just off beat and rhythm. Just my opinion....

Actually, this is not half bad after listening a couple of times.
As is usual with many of Jay's songs, the melody is quite easy to remember and sing along to....which, to me, means the song has achieved its purpose. :)

Agree that it'll sound better if Jay is the one singing it..
And I was quite disappointed that the folk drum part is just at the beginning. It would be much better if they can somehow incorporate more of it into the song, it'll make the song more unique..

I'm not a fan of rock songs. I'm a ballad person. Honestly, I don't like Jay's Exclamation mark, the era, and dragon rider. But don't know why, I love this song right away!! XD
Maybe because the melody is more easy to sing along? not to upbeat or full of screaming and rapping..
I think it's pretty good :)
